HelsinkiDayTrip ("we," "us") operates helsinkidaytrip.com, an independent guide to Helsinki tours. This policy explains what limited data we and our third-party partners process when you visit. We aim to collect as little as possible.
1. Information we collect
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not sell personal data. Two categories of data may be processed:
- Server logs. Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically records standard request data — IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamp — to deliver pages and protect against abuse. These logs are retained only briefly.
- Third-party booking widgets. Tour availability and booking are powered by GetYourGuide. When a GetYourGuide widget loads, GetYourGuide may set cookies and process data to enable bookings and attribute referrals. This processing is governed by GetYourGuide's own privacy policy.
2. Cookies
We do not set our own advertising or analytics cookies. The GetYourGuide widget and its analytics script may set functional and attribution cookies so that bookings you make are credited correctly. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; doing so may affect the booking widgets.
3. How data is used
To serve and secure the website, to enable tour bookings through GetYourGuide, and to attribute affiliate referrals so we are credited for bookings. We do not build advertising profiles.
4. Your rights
Depending on your location (including under the EU/UK GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability.
